Adrenaline Junkie

First a brief summary of my life now. I am busy busy busy, and stressed. School is winding down (which i am very pumped about) but I have like 89547657890 things to do before my 3/6 days left of school come to an end (numbers are different for my different days of classes). But it will all get done... I hope ;)

I WANT TO BE AN ADRENALINE JUNKIE!
Now probably not in the way you think... More like A Jesus Christ Adrenaline Junkie. In my bible study that I received for Easter which talks about "Chasing the Goose" as in Jesus of course. Mark Batterson who is the author has a segment called "Save us from Boredom." He talks about how God created us not to be bored, he came to save us from boredom. He goes on to talk about the story of Moses and how bored he had to be watching sheep everyday, then one day that all changed when he encountered God through a burning bush, which was definately not boring. From that moment on Moses's life was far from boring, going to Egypt and saving the Isrealites, confronting Pharoh day after day, and so on.... Boredom was no longer in his routine. I want to be like Moses, I want my "boring" day to go, and I want God to come in and SHAKE it up..."I want a holy rush of adrenaline."
Mark Batterson goes on to talk about how Moses answered God when he called.. he simply said, "Here I am." Plain, simple, and to the point. At the same time that is a loaded answer. Well I dont know if loaded is the right word but you get my point...I mean that isnt easy to say and MEAN it. I want to be able to answer when called simply by saying, "HERE I AM" and MEAN it.

Be Blessed!
